Benjamin Kafka
Benjamin is a facilitator of conversations, connections and opportunities. He has extensive experience in organisation, team, and leadership development. He began his career working for various organisations in the international development field, including the UNDP in Bosnia and Hercegovina, and GIZ in Burkina Faso. In 2010, he co-founded Impuls, Agentur für angewandte Utopien (agency for applied utopia) in Berlin, which served as a platform for a number of innovative projects facilitating dialogue and transformation. He has been affiliated with Presencing Institute since 2014, working alongside Martin Kalungo-Banda in projects around Universal Health Coverage for 7 African countries, University Reform in Zambia, and others. In 2018, he joined Atelier Gardens, a campus for societal transformation in Berlin, for whom Presencing Institute is an important partner. There, he serves as Director for Vision, Community and Partnerships. Benjamin holds qualifications in International and Development Economics, Political Science and Anthropology from the Universities of Freiburg, Germany and Sussex, UK.
