Inviting North and South American educators, youth, people of color, and leaders who have experience integrating SPT into their institutional or community contexts to strengthen their skills and to collectively explore the ways that SPT practices cultivate the social soil of relationships.
This dedicated yearlong program consists of 3 modules: two in-person and one online.
The Studio is a place for training, practice, and creation. Manish Srivastava and Arawana Hayashi will be the main teachers with the additional presence senior practitioners as guest presenters. Between sessions participants practice in location-based groups to support one another in integrating SPT into their work/community contexts.
The program builds on experiences from either a Social Presencing Theater Basic course, an online The Art of Making a True Move course, or a Presencing Foundation Program.
Prior experience bringing SPT into education, inclusion/diversity, meditation, theater or art contexts.
The amount paid minus a $ 300 cancellation/processing fee will be refunded for all cancellations received in writing before the start of the program.
After that date no refunds will be granted for cancellations.
You may arrange for a substitute participant at least two (2) weeks before the program. Should the Presencing Institute need to cancel the program, participants will receive a refund of their tuition, but no reimbursement for booked flights or other travel or program-related expenses.
This is not a residential program. The area has many airbnb options, and participants are encouraged to find shared accommodations.
Transportation is self-organized.
