as we co create through our collective being, knowing and doing 

a world in which people and planet thrive.

The HLA Presencing Journey is for professors who have completed the Foundations Cohort and are ready to engage with their students and social entrepreneurs in prototyping the future that honors individual dignity, demonstrates the courage to care for others, and works toward share wellbeing on a healthy planet.  Together in our commitment to profound innovation and change, we will move from ego-system to eco-system ways of being, knowing and doing.

Beneath the visible events and crises are underlying structures, paradigms of thought and sources that are responsible for creating them.  When ignored, we continue to re-enact the same patterns.  It is not enough to create change at the level of symptoms and structures.  Using Theory U as a framework and method, we will learn from the future as it emerges.  This journey will lead us:

-        Seeing with an open mind

-        Sensing with an open heart

-        Presencing with an open will

-        Crystalizing vision and intention

-        Prototyping living microcosms of the future

We also want to anticipate some key questions:

·       What is the cost for participation?  There is no financial price to register for the HLA Presencing Journey, but there are potential travel costs involved.  Your commitment is to invest time, passion, and gifts in co-creating a future in which people and planet flourish.

·       What is the curriculum like?  This cohort will be grounded in Be.Know.Do practices, interwoven with Theory U and practices from the Presencing Institute and Social Presencing Theatre.

·       What organizations is this effort linked to?  We have a growing list of partners that include the UN PRME, Ashoka, IHMA, and associations of Jesuit Universities.  The International Humanistic Management Association is a driving force in the initiative alongside the Barry-Wehmiller company, Fairtrasa, and a host of others.  We seek to create a space where members of all these organizations can connect, share, grow, and ultimately change the world.

·       What happens after the Cohort?  We will look to capture your stories of transformation through social media, teaching films, journal articles, and on the ground transformation that move toward the shaping of a Black Belt Cohort for other business school faculty to share the same journey.
