A series of 11 conversations to envision scribing as a social and “healing" art, applied to structures and dynamics within our society.
Online Only - Registration and access ongoing
Language: English
Each conversation of the “Scribing as Applied To…” series will create space for dialogue across communities of visual and facilitative practice. Many "scribes" (those drawing in real time for groups, while people talk, to help reflect back content and patterns) work alone. Yet we are exposed to incredible content across all sectors, systems, and regions. This is an opportunity for anyone wanting to explore how scribing can support sense-making in challenging times.
The first session will focus on climate change. Other topics to come could include: Complexity, Decolonization, Disability, Education, Grassroots Organizing, Intergenerational Learning, Social Justice, and Somatics/Trauma, among others - to be sourced by the group.
Hosts: Kelvy Bird and Emma Dulski, with members and friends of Lark Collective.
You can join each session individually, or join the series. In both cases, your ticket covers participation for you AND one guest with whom you would like to share the experience. For those opting for the series, you can invite a different person each month.
Each conversation will include/provide:
Technical Requirements: You will need video or audio access to Zoom.
Next session: March 2
To accommodate time zones, each topic will have two windows for conversation on the first Thursday of every month. See map image below. You can join either, or both, options:
