Heather Huggins is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and facilitator from Austin, Texas who is based in NYC. She specializes in embodied approaches to co-creating communities and projects; her collaborations in new, devised, and applied theatre aspire to make visible the intersections of identity, power, and privilege. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Theatre at City University of New York - Queensborough Community College, where she supports a student-centered research community that practices Social Presencing Theater. She received her MFA as an apprentice to Andrei Droznin at the Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow, Russia.
