Kate Johnson is an interdisciplinary teacher, writer, facilitator and performer based in NYC and Philadelphia. She teaches Social Presencing Theater as a tool that allows change-makers to connect with the inherent health in our systems, and to strategize fresh ways to bring that well-being to its fullest expression.Currently, she is one of three faculty members of the year-long Advanced Training in Social Presencing Theater course, along with Arawana Hayashi and Manish Srivastava. She also offers 2-day Basics in SPT Courses, and facilitates SPT in Presencing Foundations Programs.Kate has been practicing Buddhist meditation in the western Insight/Theravada tradition since 2008, and is empowered as a teacher through Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
